    BH 77 backhoe cylinder

The dip cylinder ( middle one) leaks back a bit when I put pressure on it. There are no visible oil leaks on it. Could it possibly be the 4-way joystick valve or is it time to rebuild the cylinder. Thanks

    Large shavings in hydraulic filter

When I changed the filters at 50 hours on my L3200 there was nothing like that. I had a very small piece of rubber, (probably from a lip seal) and enough shavings to barely show up on a shop towel. I know this is not what you want to hear, but it looks like some possible gear alignment problem...

3rd Function Valve - Kubota or WR Long?

I have a L3200 and had the Kubota dealership install a third function valve on it for my hyd. grapple. It was a W.R. Long valve assembly. The tech said it was a easier to obtain than a Kubota valve. I'm satisfied with the installation and the operation of the controls. Wish you good luck.

    hyd. oil cooler

Wolfman, on my l3200 the hyd. cylinder on the main boom of the backhoe gets so hot I can't hold my hand on it after a few hours of digging stumps. should I need some type of cooler on this unit. I hate to have all that heat attacking the seals and o rings. By the way, I was up in Sandpoint last...

    sub soiler?

I did ask my wife if she would sit on the 3 point to help the sub soiler dig deeper. I told her to not bounce on it too much and break something. The Dr. told me i'd be on solid foods next week and my blurred vision would get better. LOL Thanks for the help, it'll make my job a lot easier.

    sub soiler?

I'm going to lay some 1" pvc pipe. I was wondering if a 3 point sub soiler might work. I would like to bury it about 18''. It's pretty good soil, no rocks, mostly sandy loam. Has anyone had any luck doing it this way? I didn't want to use the backhoe. Kind of an overkill.

    Land Pride SGC1060 Welds Ripping!!

MIG welds are strong, it has a lot to do with prep and the person welding. I've seen many MIG welds that look great but would pull apart easily.also porosity seems to be more likely than other weld methods. To each his own on welding methods. In our shop, MIG was not allowed on any x ray quality...

    Land Pride SGC1060 Welds Ripping!!

This scares me. I have the same tractor and also the scm 1060 grapple. Now where i'm at I don't have any rocks or hard ground. I do use it mainly for rounding up brush piles and adding to piles. Handy for hauling 10' sections of 6-8" pine and pine tops. I will pay attention to this "weak spot"...

    My Tractor is Haunted

Whew, that's a relief. I thought I was going bonkers also. on my Kubota, I can turn left while raising the fel and I'll be danged if it don't whine like Merle Haggard.

L3200 Purchase -- Which Implements to Get?

I just got the tractor back yesterday. The 1060 worked great ! I like the small reverse tines for back raking. I went into a area with small dead fall with some green vines from the trees growing through it, it pulled everything out. It cleared in 5 minutes what it would have taken me an hour...

L3200 Purchase -- Which Implements to Get?

Chris, I have a L3200 with the quick connect also. I bought a Landpride SGC 1060 grapple. Hopefully to be installed this week. It was a bit pricey, but I think the quality in the metal work and bracing will be better. I'm letting my dealer install the third function valve and switch. Also for...

MIG Welding on a Tractor L2800

There's no problem at all. Have the ground clamp close to the area to be welded as possible. I never have weld current going through any bearings or bushings also. Clean the weld area as good as possible.

Well, I got the 3200 fired up. I was able to bleed down by loosening the inj. lines. Runs a little rough. It ought to line out after some use. Thanks
