Is it difficult to replace the shaft?

I believe the yoke was not locked in place and it slipped back to the end of the PTO shaft before twisting off.

The tractor had an old bush hog 15' Batwing on it. I have used the mower on a John Deere 3020 with no problems.

The pto shaft that you hook implements to sheared off on my 6950. It sheared where the groove is located that the yoke pin goes into. How hard is it to replace the shaft and can it be purchased somewhere other than Kubota ? The dealer wants over $500.00 for the pto shaft.

Does any one know what the pressure should be?

I was advised by a Kubota tech that it has a hydraulic pump and he believes there is a restriction somewhere. We are going to check the pressure.

The fluid and filters are good. I think the tractor has a pto pump and not a clutch. Does anyone know? Can the pump be accessed from the back of the tractor or does it need to be split?

I do not think it is the Clutch. Could it be the PTO Clutch. I believe it is in the rear of the tractor and not with the Drive Clutch. Dors anyone know?

Make sure you have the throttle as low as it will let you go. On my 7950 if the throttle is not at low idle the PTO will grind.

I just purchased a M6950DT with a front loader. Everything seems to work fine except for when I hooked up a 6ft mower. The PTO is slipping/stopping under load. My fear is it is the PTO clutch. Could it be something else?
