I had assumed that the lifting capacity was the model number, which I had seen stated several times by several users. Made sense to a point. However, comparing the 844 and 1055 loaders it turns out this is not the case. One may assume the LA 805 and LA 844 would be similar, right? But no...

So I just opened the forks as wide as they would go and took care of my round bales. I will be using the forks more often, that's for sure. There are certain times where I need the spike, but most of the time I don't. Anyone else keep it simple?
