    B7300 w/ loader 1000.00

Look at my post about my B7300. I paid $2,700.00 with a loader and belly mower. Then spent another $2,000.00 getting the engine rebuilt and buying other parts. I have around $5,000.00 in it total. A lot more than I planned but I still feel like it was a good deal. I was at the kubota...

Problem with b7300 engine need help

I finally have the B7300 engine running properly and installed in the tractor. I wanted to post what was discovered to be the problem so maybe someone else can learn from my experience with this. The engine, with only 122 hours developed a problem, not sure what or why. The previous owner...

Problem with b7300 engine need help

I was thinking it was the return too. I took out the the injector pump to look and the springs are there but I'm not sure if they are connected correctly on injector pump end. They are on the control lever end. Does anyone know of a photo or drawing that shows the springs connected correctly?

Problem with b7300 engine need help

I have a B7300 tractor with a D722 engine. I just had my engine rebuilt by a machine shop that the local Kubota dealer uses. I put the tractor back together and when I started the engine it went to full throttle and I couldn't shut it off. I shut off the fuel supply to stop the engine. Both...

    RC54-71B PTO and Mounting brackets

I just finished rebuilding my RC54 71B mower deck. I've never had it on the tractor since I bought the tractor. I discovered I was missing the shaft that goes from the mid mount PTO to the gear box on the mower deck. I went to Kubota and was quoted a price of $750.00. I told them I would...

    B7300 Injector pump questions

Re: B7300 Injector pump questions Update I've done more work on the engine and wanted to pass along things I've discovered and learned. I've split the tractor and taken the head off and the pistons out. There was much corrosion and crude on the valves and valve seats. Only one valve of the...

    B7300 Injector pump questions

The person I bought the tractor from (not the original owner) had filled all three cylinders with Marvel. The Marvel had been in there at least a month before I got the tractor. With the injectors out I just cranked the engine by hand and that blew out all the Marvel Mystery Oil. Maybe I...

    B7300 Injector pump questions

I took the valve cover off and watched as I cranked the engine. That's how I saw the white smoke/vapor? I was not seeing anything come out of the muffler which I think I should have if there was fuel going into the cylinders. I should take the head off and check valves and top of the pistons...

    B7300 Injector pump questions

I just purchased a B7300 tractor and need some advice to get it to run. First a little history on the machine. The tractor has 122 hours. The engine had problems and the owner hired someone to work on it. The mechanic took off the injector pump and injectors, the front gear cover, water...

Rck 54 24b belly mower for sale

The tractor this deck came off of had 122 hours. I have all the brackets to mount on the tractor. The deck had surface rust from sitting for so long. I used a wire wheel to take off the rust, Ospho to kill the rust and then painted with rusty metal primer and orange top coat. There is slight...

I've tightened the spring adjustment about 1/4 inch. Now I think it is about as good as it will get. Thanks for all the help.

    B7100 Clutch Question

I took the cover off the middle of the tractor and power washed everything. I looked like the grease zerk for the hydrostat pedal hadn't been greased in a long time. There was an adjustable linkage that goes to the speed control lever that was bent and binding against the frame of the tractor...

    B7100 Clutch Question

I have a new to me B7100 HST 4X4. My question is; When you push in the clutch pedal should the Hydrostac pedal move to the neutral postion. That is, where the tractor doesn't move forward or backward when the clutch is let out again. If not, how do you know the Hydorstat pedal is in neutral...

    Need help with PTO hydrualics

Re: Need help with PTO hydrualics. Problem Solved! Bulldog, To answer your question, after changing the oil, o rings on the piston, adjusting the 3 point hitch attachments, and a new filter the tractor would not lift the mower deck. After many unsuccessful attempts at raising the deck I kicked...

    Need help with PTO hydrualics

I don't know what it weighs but twice the hydraulic system picked it up to the maximum height quickly without hesitation. If I had to guess I would say it weighs about 300 lbs

    Need help with PTO hydrualics

There is no unusual noise when trying to lift the deck. What I find strange is that when I have the lift lever pulled I can lift the front of the deck off the floor to where it is level with the tail wheel (about 2" above the floor) by pulling up on the deck by hand. With the deck up and the...

    Need help with PTO hydrualics

Bulldog, I should have mentioned that I changed the oil using the recomended Kubota oil. There was no filter where the filter should be. I've ordered a new one but right now it doesn't have a filter. Since posting this I've adjusted the lifting arms so that both arms are equally pulling on the...

    Need help with PTO hydrualics

I'm a newbie to this forum and kubota tractors. I just bought a B6000E. I don't think it is a grey market. I found a 3 ft brush hog for it but the hydraulic lift will not pick it up. I can stand on the Lift arms and it will pick me up with no problem (220 lbs). I had my son stand on the...
