Thanks. In the mean time I called a few injection shops and one could get those nozzels. Good price too, $36 for the part and $15 to set the pressure. 3 rebuilt injectors for about $125. I cant do it myself that cheap.

anyone familliar with denso injector nozzels?

Just asking around for some knowledge of some nozzel numbers. I'm in the process of rebuild yet another engine, but have hit a brick wall rebuilding the injectors. it seems Denso no longer makes the original DN4PD1 nozzels. Just for kicks I tried a used one from another rebuild, number DN4PD62...

I know this thread is about honey bees, but I have a question thats bee realted. Recently I have found a nest of bees similar in color to a honey bee but smaller and in the ground. I wouldnt be concerned except they are mildly agressive. Approach the nest extrance and they start flying around...

    Gasoline in the crankcase

I guess I got distracted last time I ran it and forgot to turn the valve off. 2 questions come to mind. First, should I ventilate the crankcase to remove any remaining vapors just in case the low oil cut off would spark, granted it shouldn't on a fresh fill. Second, put a little oil, maybe a...

cracked head or blown head gasket?

Just an update: Its all set up to run a proper cooling system now, fabricated and installed radiator mounts today, turned a few hose adapters to fit bigger hoses to a honda civic radiator, so the next run will be water cooled. As for the oil leak, found it, and cant believe I missed something...

cracked head or blown head gasket?

Good Evening, A while back I rebuilt a 2 cylinder (Z482) engine for a generator project, well the project has been indefinately grounded for now. In the mean time I would start it from time to time to keep oil on all the moving parts. As I dont have this in any equipment, there is no cooling...

    Any car gurus here?

Hi everyone, My appologies for taking so long to reply. My family has been coping with the loss of a loved one and family is paramount to me. An update, I tried the screwdriver on the bearing trick, heard only the faintest (less then a whisper) of roughness. Anyway a stroke of luck, I...

    Any car gurus here?

The set of Wrangler's I have on my '00 Ford now were suppose to be 60K mile tires. I'm pushing 90K on them, and am just now nearing the wear bar. if it wern't for the starting to slide in the rain and snow, I wouldn't be looking at all. Speaking of Firestones, I had the OE Firestones on my '95...

Steve: I never gave CV's a thought. Last time I heard a bad cv it was more of a clicking sound, thanks for the tip. Don: sorry to say these are good years. Skeets: thats the weird part, there is no vibration. and doesent seems to be getting worse.

Calipers and rotors are good, just did a brake job recently. As for where its coming from, thats hard to say, it resonates through the van. seems a little stronger in the front. I did a crude check of the bearing when it started. no unusual play top to bottom or side to side.

    Any car gurus here?

No, i dont feel it in the steering wheel, and I dont see any unusual wear, they look to be wearing fairly evenly. maybe it is jsut a busted belt and I just dont see the hump.
