Yes, I called them first just asking for the specific ball size. They had a kit then said “let’s check it by model” I said I am sure you do not have my model but then they said yes it was for the L260. Yes, they matched and I used them and they worked great.

My local Kubota dealer was not much help. I was able to locate expansion plugs that are 34.925mm and they worked great. Napa has steel 381-3080 or brass 381-9008. Pump is not back from being rebuilt so was easy access. (hope this helps someone else)

Yea I am seeing a couple of place’s for about $1000 but I don’t have much choice. In my original post I mentioned i let it idle while I directed a driver where to dump and when I got back on is when I had the issue. There we no engine performance issues before then.

The backhoe on my L260 is a Brantly model 430. it has saved me a lot of back breaking work over the years. I have had to replace some cylinders when I get to aggressive with it but I it is well worth it.

My L260 does not seem to be very noise to me. It sounds like a normal Diesel. I do not have a normal muffler on it. The previous owner put a bigger (oval) muffler with a rain cap.
