    How much smoke is OK?

    I recently acquired a Kubota B6000. When I first start it up it gives off a couple puffs of smoke. Then if I'm really lugging it, say up a hill in 1 first gear, 3/4 throttle pulling large logs, it gives off a very faint puff of white smoke. I just figure this is normal, or at least expected...

    So I picked up my first tractor today. It is a US domestic market B6000 4x4. Seems to be in good working order so far. I don't know if the glow plug is working because the light/resistor coil on the dash doesn't energize. The tractor is firing fine in 70 degree weather though. I'll have to...
