If only one choice,it would be the blade for year round use but in the winter my 60' blower works very well on the gravel driveway,Last winter by the end of January I had ran out of room to push the snow,purchased the blower used,problem solved,wont be pushing snow any more.

Re: Snowblower throwing gravel - a solution? I have some 2x2x1/4" stainless angle that was rolled for pipe flanges,thinking about cutting 2- 8" piece's and using 2 bolts either side on the outside of the frame to work as skates to keep the blower off the gravel until the snow packs then remove...

? ? ?........

That's where I am planning to mount it,did see some pictures of some mounted there,just going to use longer bolts and "sandwich" the ROPS between the case and upper arm support

That's where I'm planning on attaching my home made ROPS,I have a grey market ZL2202DT using 2x2x3/16 tubing seeing as tractor is in the 2000 lb range it should work,and yes dont forget the seat belt. I'm going to gusset the heck out of it at the attachment point near the PTO with 1/4 " plate

I have a ZL2202DT,I read some where that the L245 parts would fit,as near as I can figure its just the engine as pretty much everything else is not even close.I purchased a manual for the L245,not a great help. Try this link to a free PDF download and see...

I just purchased a used snow blower for a good price,I'm new to this tractoring stuff but not mech challenged(much). When I attache the blower to the hitch it sits about 3-4 inches off the skids to the ground,I can adjust the top link so the augers are hitting the dirt,just dont think this is...
