    I need help everyone.

I do not have the same BX but perhaps this will be helpful. On the side to the right of the seat, there should be a handle that slides forward/backward. It will be in the area of the speed selector. That will raise/lower the MMM and the rear PTO arms, if you have them. Once you set the...

Has anybody used one of these stump grinders?

Here's a new one: a friend of mine had several stumps that were in the way. So, a company was hired to do it. The person who did the grinding used one that was controlled with a remote! Now THAT would be the kind to have. I don't know the name of the equipment manufacturer. Tractor Gal...

Where to add Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid on BX1500

I should not have acquiesced so quickly. :) TG

Where to add Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid on BX1500

OK, I stand corrected! Sorry I made you look. :-) The dipstick must be attached to the fill cap? The dipstick opening for my BX23D would never tolerate being used to fill the reservoir. It's enough of a pain to use the larger fill opening. TG

Where to add Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid on BX1500

Check at the back of the tractor, near the dip stick...should be an orange cap about 3" diameter. Screw that out to fill. And, yes...use a long neck funnel, preferably one that will bend and has a filter in it. I don't have a BX1500 but I would think most BX's will be similar. Tractor Gal

BX2200 Just added some UDT hydro oil

It's not too hard to drain a bit of hydraulic oil...just get a catch basin, loosen the bolt slightly but don't remove it...just a couple of turns until the oil begins to flow. If you take the bolt all the way out, the oil will gush and then it's hard to get the bolt back in without loosing a...

    To Much Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid in a B2650...

It would be handy to know the volume by looking at the dipstick. Those bars only tell if we have too little or too much. Yes, we know the volume of what SHOULD be in there but if it's down one mark, how much volume is that. Adding fluid bit by bit is too time consuming...imho, of course. TG

I was just given this BX2200 and I have no idea

Good for you, jackjack99168. It's good that you have gotten a tractor without the expense, but also good that you're able and willing to learn how to use it. This board will be invaluable as you begin the process. While I had been around motors and machinery my whole life, I had never had...

    RC48 mower deck removal question

Hold the fort! It's a good thing I read the posts on this board. All this time, I was pushing a button like is on all other PTO connections I've used. Apparently, with the statements here, all I need to do is pull back that ring, line up the splines and slide it onto the PTO shaft. "All," I...

    RC48 mower deck removal question

If your mower is like other Kubota mowers, there is a "button" that must be depressed that will release the shaft from the splines. As shown above, you can see the "button." It's a job, by the way! Very little space to move...and the grease makes it slippery! TG

M6800 starts and shuts off repeatedly

Did you ever try a new key switch as 0007kubotaguy suggested in post #15? Seems like he would know...and worth a try. Tractor Gal PS Just saw that the new switch fixed the issue! Good news.

    Looking to trade . . . down

McMXi, I'm agree with your thoughts for the most part. BUT, I interpret the manual a little differently with regard to the BH/mower. To me, the manual says to move the hydraulic hose from the BH to the main port while using the mower. That is not a big deal to change hose connection. The...

    Looking to trade . . . down

I have a BX23D...cousin-in-part to the BX23S. This machine came with a FEL, BH and MMM. Each piece of equipment has worked out well. However, attaching/removing the MMM is a bit of a chore. No, actually, it is more than a chore...it is a pain in the neck! While wanting to use the BH and FEL...

2018 RTV-XG850 click but no start

The only way to know if a battery is fully charged is to have it load tested. My guess is that it's either the battery, corroded battery cables at both battery posts and ground, or a drop in voltage to prevent the starter from engaging. First, clean the battery posts and ground cable. Then...

    Thanks to those who Know

I'm with you, colt0380. Thanking "those who know," is what we need to do. The members on this board REALLY know these tractors. Just reading the posts and learning of solutions is helps the rest of us. It would take a lot of time for members to help troubleshoot a problem, but they seem...

Question about changing gear lube in a BX mower deck gearbox.

I'm with you on all that you said, BX25D Rookie. I have the 60" RCK22BX and needed to replace the gearbox seal due to "operator error," so to speak. I changed the oil at the time of seal replacement. I believe the manual says to remove the bolt directly above the drain bolt. When oil drains...

need advice for repair of LA211 hydraulics

Good news today! I have been able to correct the thread problem and the new hose is installed. Harbor Freight had a little set of files for $3.99 and one of those did the trick. I am delighted that this did not escalate a big problem. The loader is not installed so I can't check for leaks...

need advice for repair of LA211 hydraulics

Good info, Russell. I do have a cap that fits on the male end of tubing. I have that screwed slightly onto the fitting to keep prevent continuous dripping. I'll get some of that Prussian Blue today...along with a file that I think will fit. I'll report back...but likely not today...several...
