    Barn trophy?

I hadn’t been figuring on that at the onset but certainly see the importance now.

    Barn trophy?

Thank you. Good points! Esp about specific photo. How about request FaceTime where they do live walk-around? If I were selling I’d have no issue. With no-tractor scam, they want you to show then rob you? Driving several hours to unknown location w/$20k in pocket seems sketchy. Sure makes having...

    Barn trophy?

I see quite a few 3-5 yr old tractors with <50 hrs on FB market. Any caveats? Is it easy to manipulate the hour meter? I know in general it’s not good for machinery to sit unused. How do you assess if a tractor has issues from dis-use? Thanks

Thank you. I agree. I was just thinking (after my 9th consecutive night of agony) that I really only have 10-15 years of tractor in me. I was thinking from financial aspect but it dovetails w/physical ability/tolerance to the activity. My gut is to get the big bad no thrill gear drive no...

Exactly! It is a variable in the equation. I have 3 acres but I was getting trees from 2 neighbors with a combined 50 acres. I’m not just working on my own property. The “what” you plan to do w/the tractor is the biggest factor.

I won’t be using tractor to mow. The XMark handles that quite well. The BH is great ballast when using FEL. Thanks you. LX would be smallest I’d go. Leaning L2502HST. I won’t be mowing w/tractor. Really want a BH, grapple, box blade but reality of cost may change final decision. Also new vs...

New 3rd Function and Other Add-Ons

As a newbie I look at that video and am sold. I’d definitely consider. I didn’t see anything related to cost. Dealers want~$1,800 to install 3rd function in my area.

That is an option I wasn’t aware of. Thank you! However I would want additional options for the 3 pt hitch like box grader/blade. The skid winch is also an attachment I may look at. I’m still in hunt mode and open to all ideas, though, so thanks again.

Thank you. That issue is settled and I feel good about it. I want to add: This forum has been great. I asked 2 different dealer reps about the winch skid attachment and neither had heard of it! I appreciate everyone’s input here. So much to consider. So many potential pitfalls. As I recover...
