I cut and chipped some of the tops the logger left behind.
Them I dropped the chipper and mounted the snow blower.
If we have a good stretch of weather I will put the chipper back on.
I think I will rent a good size excavator in the spring and do some stump removal
I also mounted some new tie...
The easiest way is like you said. Drill and tap for a pipe plug size and drill a very small hole to start.
Maybe a 1/16".
I have used this method for slowing functions on equipment we sell.
Weld might be hard to drill. Can also have small pieces possibly dislodge b
The kit that I got was the WR Long.
It was recommended by the Kubota dealer that we buy from.
This should be a picture of the joystick top with the switch.

I put the cylinder back together today and put the hydraulic hoses on.
Now I just need to bring it back to the house.
I will probably put the chipper back on until snow is forecast for the near future.
Looks like no snow for at least the next week.
I put studs in the tires on my tractor.
If you use your tractor on the black top stud are probably not for you.
They just slide and don't have good traction.
If it a dirt driveway that's a different story
Between Friday and Saturday I did a complete service on our B2650. I changed all the oils and filters.
I added a second rear function and a third function for the front.
The hardest part was getting the loaded tire back on by myself. I parked the tractor too close to my toolbox. When I moved...
We spent the day cleaning up part of what was logged at our place.
I skidded the last 26 foot pine log out and cut up the last large Hemlock but end of the tree.
Surprised how big a log that the B2650 would move.
This project give me an excuse to buy a grapple lots of logs need to be cleaned up
We have a dirt driveway.
We get lots of ice here. If they don't work out I can just remove them.
I finished the stud install. There is over 1000 studs installed.
I have been working on putting studs in my tractor tires.
I put about 750; in so far.
I ran out and had to order more. I just got 600 more.
I need about 350 to finish the tractor, then I will use the rest on the side by side for winter fire wood work.
Yesterday I checked on tire chains.
Figured out that I would need wheel spacers to put chains on the rear os my tractor.
I already had some tire studs.
I put 743 studs in today. I am short about 350 to finish the job.
Very easy to install, just time consuming.
We the last three boxes of studs...
Driving home from work today I watch a bear on our road.
Got to watch it for about 10 minutes.
We have lots of bears around here.
Not much food for them in the woods this year due to the drought.
I originally got the input for the forum.
I bought a Woodmaxx WM8H.
I have been using it for the past couple weekends. Put about 10 hours on it so far.
Has been working great.
The only issue was the in feed roller adjustment bolt backed out and stopped feeding in smaller wood.
I have...
