    Portable Generator - - Voltage/Frequency Tolerances

Don't be concerned. Only the most sensitive equipment might be affected in the real world. Theoretically, the things that would be bothered are computers and things with computers (digital controls). Resistance loads (electric dryer, water heater, space heater, hair dryer) and motors don't...

    BX25D lack of movement solved

Ah, yes, the famous, "I've never seen it, so it can't happen! " approach. That's how idiots think. Glad you tracked it down. Hope I never need to know about it, but mebbe I should check mine! Thanks for the info!

    B7100 Low Compression

A tractor with those numbers and it still runs? That does not sound like a problem I would try to solve. That would look a lot like, "If it ain't broke keep your mitts off of it!" to me. Smoke? Meh. It's an old diesel. If I just had to do something, I'd start with running those compression...

Are bxpanded trenching buckets any good. BX23S

I have their Piranha Bar, and it is a well made, solid piece of equipment. The ONLY reason I do not have several of their other attachments is my budget.

    Trailer hitch on back hoe

Those are both excellent! I'd be tempted to add a safety strap or chain holding the hitch down, running underneath to the front of the bucket. That would keep things in place if you take a bouncy bounce. What's the thickness on that steel?

    Trailer hitch on back hoe

Seems to me that if you don't have it connected LIKE the bucket, or TO the bucket, you'll be sacrificing a lot of control. Maybe something that attaches to the bucket? Hmmm. Come to think of it, I use a clamp-mounted receiver on my front bucket all the time. Maybe something like that could...

    Kubota udt alternative

My local TSC manager is also a real farmer, and has 3 or 4 Kubotas. She runs nothing but TSC products in them, and has for a couple of decades. No problems. The purists among us will tell you that you must use only Kubota branded products, or your engine will blow up, your wheels will fall...

    Question about BX steering

Well, you should! :D I was knee deep in tearing apart my dual carbs on my hot rod one time and my non-mechanical buddy innocently asked, "Are you sure you have gas in it?" Yeah, I had coasted in on the last of my fumes the evening before, and hadn't realized it. 😡

    L3301 Crank but no start

ECU provides both power and ground to the fuel pump according to that diagram. He's got ground, but he's not getting 12v. Well, wait a minute. Scott, you say you check at the connector and it's 0v. IS that checking with the meter grounded somewhere else? Or are you putting the meter probes...

    Lets talk DRO's my friends!

DRO? To me, that means, "Dining Room Orderly", but never spelled out that way. It was always shouted by a Drill Sergeant, and if you were the DRO on duty, that meant you were going to get messed with. Especially if it was Drill Sergeant Williams. But I kinda think you might be talking about...

Wood stoves......My favorite part of having a "cottage"......

About 10 years back we got a 36" snowfall and lost power for 5 days, and were housebound. We melted snow for water (drinking, cooking, and flushing toilets) and we cooked on the stove. We were fine. :)
