What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I used my L2501 Thursday for pushing and burning piles of brush. My son and I burnt 2 large piles around 30 x 40. I stayed busy moving 4 smaller piles in to the 2 that were burning. As of last night 1 was still smoldering. We have 1 more large pile and about 1 acre of smaller trees to clear yet.

    Robin's. Who's got them?

We had flocks of them all winter. I haven't seen any in several days. We don't have many over the summer because of all of the woods here but all winter they are all over the place.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Took advantage of the warm weather today 70+. Took down three of our 4 tree stands. Moved some attachments around and put a pallet in place to start getting new bee hives ready for bees. That is for tomorrow when it is raining all day.

Kubota recommends being easy on the tractor the first 50 hours (should I even mow?)

I have 60 hrs. on mine and 55 of them are using the backhoe to remove tree stumps. I run it at PTO speed most of the time. I would not sweat it. Tractors are made to work hard. They word things like that to protect them selves.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I had a really good day. Pulled some more stumps and move cut trees around before lunch. Then drove 60 miles to look at a rock rake found on market place. It looked like 6' in the pictures' was going to offer $350. It is 7' and the tines are all there with little wear. I gave him the asking...

The wood we often call hedge is Osage Orange, here's the full story. I have a friend that used Osage Orange to make bearings for very large rollers. He said they lasted years longer than reg bearings.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Nothing like some of you. 64 here today so I moved some equipment around and used the FEL to lift the back of our spare car to drain the gas tank. Lifted it up no problem. It's going to the scrap yard next week. When finished my wife came out to see what I was doing and I tried to talk her in...

    Anyone into HO model trains?

Not HO but G scale. We have over 500' of track on the ground just off the back deck and enough track for 6 - 7 layouts inside at CHRISTMAS. The wife and I attended a train show south of us this past weekend and sold just short of $1000 worth of things we don't use. We have around 30 engines and...

    Landscape rake question

I am in the same boat about buying a rake. My question is are they good for raking leaves and sticks. I live in the forest, no neighbor's for 1/2 a mile across the hills. My driveway is over a 1/2 mile long and I have been leveling it the best I can with shovel and rake for 16 years. I really...
