    Normal? or Not?

I have a L4400HST which I purchased used about 4 months ago (500 hours, all service done) and it has run like a champ. I was out of town for about 3 weeks over Christmas and the tractor just sat. When I returned home I cranked it up, no issue. Pushed the pedal and it bogged down. Pushed...

    PSA Check your Lug Nuts

Great advice...both. But as to the tractor lugs I had a front wheel fall of while bush hogging. Now I check constantly.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had a great day of digging post holes with the auger. We had a bunch of rain over the past week and what usually takes 20-30 minutes to dig (one hole) in our Prairie soil was done in a minute.

    Fuel sending unit ohm info

It is very strange! I can take a stick and actually push the float down while installed in the tank and watch it go down. Let go.... it goes back up. I'm starting to think that it is working but doesn't move until about one-half a tank is gone. Right now I'm at about 3-4 of a tank and it...

Kubota fuel gauge stuck on full

No manual, nothing. Ive been dealing with this and actually have an active post on the same issue. Here is what Ill tell you... The float runs L to R (float probably on right side) while sitting on the tractor and probably in the rear of the tank. Get a stick, start it up and push, or pick up...

    Fuel sending unit ohm info

I agree. In fact the one I purchased on Amazon (Bosch) had the ranges of "Empty - 240 ohms; 1/2 - 130 ohms; Full - 33 ohm", which seems to be standard. I hooked it up outside the tank and moved the arm up and down...with the arm in the FULL position the gauge showed about half way between...

    Fuel sending unit ohm info

No problem. Probably right on the difference between generic and OEM. However, the generic ones are about $15-$20 on Amz and the OEM is about $98. The generic one will read empty probably around with an eighth of a tank.

Shut tractor off and won't turn over

I'm sure you know this but if the tractor is stopped with the PTO engaged it will not start until it has been disengaged. From your description of the problem this could be the issue.

    Fuel sending unit ohm info

Just for info purposes, as I know this is a common tractor problem and I searched the internet for this information for weeks and couldn't find it. I have a L4400 (so not sure if this will apply to all tractors) but MY fuel sending unit reads 0 ohms at FULL and 120 ohms at EMPTY. NOW IT...

    Fuel Gauge question...again

You are correct. I had it opposite of what it was and checked again last night. Open=empty, closed=full. I ordered a generic Bosch sending unit on Amazon for $16.00 (used, like new) and will see if it works. If not, may bite the bullet and spend the $90.00 for the Kubota one

    Fuel Gauge question...again

I have a L4400HST. The fuel gauge is stuck on full when ON and empty whenever OFF.. I pulled both wires off of the sensor and the tank stayed FULL. Touched the wires together and the gauge goes to EMPTY. Apart again...FULL, over and over. From what I can gather this means the problem is NOT...
