    B6000 starter switch

It did. The tractor was my father in-laws and he use to use it to mow here (we're living in their old home)

    B6000 starter switch

This one does have the reverse PTO. I've got a plow and flail mower for it as well as a hydraulic blade on the front and a 3pt for the rear. I'll likely use it mostly for 3-pt stuff as I also have a Ford 3000. I'd like to get a small disk, drag, and cultipacker for it. Would like to put down...

    B6000 starter switch

Me too. I got the new belt on. Got to get clamps and antifreeze tomorrow. I think I'm going to flush it before I fill it. Can't wait to fire it up. Next on the agenda will be the hydraulic hoses.

    B6000 starter switch

Took your suggestion and cleaned up both the starter, opening in the housing , and pegs, Reinstalled and she's good to go. There was a lot of rust around so I assume it just wasn't making ground. Even sounds different/better. Now it's onto belt and hoses.

    B6000 starter switch

well I was trying to post a pic of it but for some reason I can't Thanks everyone for the help. It's going to be a little while before I can go much further (lack of $$), but I'll post back when I do. I'm really looking forward to having this thing ready to work. Don

    B6000 starter switch

OK she's off. It was rusted pretty good to the housing you were talking about. I've done 3 test on it and It seems OK, but I'll run it down and have the auto place test it. With it off the solonoid throws the gear, the starter spins, and the throw out comes forward as I understand it should.

    B6000 starter switch

OK new cable is in and battery checked out OK. Ground point cleaned to metal. Starter still not cranking/jumping. So. I've already disconnected all the wires and I see two nuts that have studs coming out from the flywheel housing. Are those the only two I'm looking for? I've got them off but...

    B6000 starter switch

OK I'm getting 11.75 at the plugs. I tried to jump it. It took me a while to get it to do it and it only cranked once and briefly. Couldn't get it to do it a second time. The lights have been gone from this one since before I got it. The wires are still there and the back of the light switch...

    B6000 starter switch

Will check glow plugs tomorrow. I'm done for the day it's mid 90's and high humidity. hehe

    B6000 starter switch

Yep I pulled the switch. Already had the fuel tank out so it was easy. I stuck the switch back in and am reading 12 volts at the small wire on the solenoid but no crank. I've actually not tried jumping to the starter. I just ran a continuity test. More than willing to try it though. How do I...

    B6000 starter switch

Well I checked it out but I'm not sure what to make of it. Sometimes it reads like it should (1 if open 0 if closed) other times it reads .3xx when the switch is off and 000 when it's closed. So I'm guessing maybe it's just dirty, but it doesn't crank or juice the glow plugs. from what I see...

    B6000 starter switch

Thank you, Dave. That does make it clear. I was trying to figure out how to read those charts the other day :) I'll check it out tomorrow and share what I find. It would seem to be rather simple to replace the switch with maybe 2 switches if I must.

    B6000 starter switch

I do have a multimeter and have checked the lines from switch on down to starter etc for continuity, but I'm not sure how to check the switch. It has 4 wires total. 2 that run to the glow plug controller, the center one that goes to the switch and the other small wire that runs down to the...

    B6000 starter switch

anyone know of an exploded view of the inside of a kubota b6000 starter switch (66621-55130). It seems my electrical problems lie in the switch. It seems like the contacts inside are likely dirty because I've cleaned hte outside connections and it's still having the issue. You might turn it 5-6...

    B6000 Cr anking issues

mine's had a short in one of the 3 wires that goes to they dynamo for years. I could wiggle it and it'd be ok, but not so much now. I made the mistake of taking them apart to clean them. I'm guessing one of them finally broke in two there somewhere. All the usual suspects on connectors seem ok.

    B6000 Cr anking issues

OK folks, I've been working on the ol b6000. New glow plugs so far. Went to try it and it would crank but not start. So I figure I've got air in the system somewhere. In the mean time something happened when I tried to crank it. Got a spark underneath around where the starter is. After that...

    B6000 fuel joint

Anyone know if the double joint for the fuel line is used on any other model? The one on mine is broke and Kubota says it's been discontinued part # 15103-42570 https://www.dropbox.com/s/zrl8ghldcvh3yd1/2holefitting.jpg?dl=0
