Thoughts and Feelings on using a Woods RB6 blade on my B8200

If you can get enough forward motion to roll the snow off when angled you should be fine. My main issue is when it piles up while angled instead of rolling off which in turn slows my forward momentum and pushes me sideways. A rear blade will probably have less affect on steering then a front...

Thoughts and Feelings on using a Woods RB6 blade on my B8200

I took a 6 foot truck plow and made it into a 5 foot front plow for my b7100 last year. Didn't really get enough snow to do full trials but with the limited heavy wet snow we did get I didn't notice much difference with the tractor between that and the original 4 foot factory plow. Our gravel...

    Check your tire pressure!

Thank you, I have the ridgid one and use it a lot. That situation called for shop air I was in a hurry and even with the weight off the front end the cordless wasn't cutting it. I use the ridgid one for checking and toping off the tires on the car, truck trailer etc. In that particular situation...

    Check your tire pressure!

That's no fun I recently was lifting an old "trailer" axle into my trailer using the fel, as I was pulling up to the trailer I was wondering why the steering (manual) was so strenuous with a fairly light load up front. Got off to look and the R/F tire was completely flat. Thankfully I didn't...

Kubota b7100 possibly need to replace glow plugss

Good points, I do have a infrared thermometer somewhere I'll try that method as well. I also use the hour meter click as a timer but never go less the 5 clicks in the summer and usually 10÷)-15 in the winter

Kubota b7100 possibly need to replace glow plugss

It glows orange red depending on your color definition, it never really gets brighter once it starts to glow but that hasn't changed recently. I will do the ohm test possibly later this afternoon.

Kubota b7100 possibly need to replace glow plugss

As the title says I have a funny feeling it's time to think about replacing the glow plugs on my gear drive B7100dt. Backstory the tractor has always been very cooperative with starting when using the glow plugs for a prescribed allotment of time. More in the winter less in the winter. I have...

    Snowplow hydraulics hook up

Looks like everyone else already answered the question, but I will chime in anyway. Yes those are single acting cylinders on the swing for the plow, most snow plows I have seen including mine have single acting cylinders so one hose for each cylinder when one is "pushed out" the other is...

Little more progress after work this evening. Ilthe frame/carriage is temporarily on the tractor so I can mock up the dump stops for the curl cylinders, which is proving to be the most difficult part if this project so far. Aside from snapping the chuck renting screw off In the motor on my...

Diesel vs Propane Home Backup Generator

There isn't a "cheap option" for that you would need to run the appropriate gauge wire the distance required, and would also need the lockout on your panel or a multi circuit transfer switch at or near the panel

Home made or highly modified 3pt attachments

Here's my contributions they're not pretty but they get the job done First is my homemade concrete counterweight cast over a TSC drawbar and using some scrap metal for the top link mount. Second is a my "trailer mover/3ph log skidder made out of a old trailer hitch and more scrap metal for the...
