I’ve gotten stuck (many times) on my gravel driveway in 2WD; 4WD is worth its weight in gold. My POS 2016 F150 WT (w/o locking/limited slip whatever rear end gets stuck all the time too) my BX1870 in 4WD gets everything unstuck all the time.

The threads are not left handed. I use the BXpanded "quick on" model and therefore it’s easy on, easy off.

I keep my BX1870 out in the elements year around; to keep moisture from getting into my instrument cluster I use a 3’ x 6’ tarp…see pictures:

The 3 point will hold the position you leave it at; what it does not do is provide you with a repeatable height setting. On a BX you set the height by measure (if parked) or by sight while moving... I just eyeball it.

Can you flip the studs (end to end) and have enough thread protruding to attach the wheel nuts?

My BX lives outside year around but I have a 3’x6’ weatherproof tarp that protects it from rain and snow.

My BX1870 has the RCK48-18BX mid mount mower deck with these Kubota blades: K5181-71940. I was never able to find aftermarket high lift blades so I just bought an extra pair of Kubota blades from my dealer and never looked back.
