Help needed from the good folks on here .The plan is to run a verge flail mower and currently there are no hydraulics on the tractor apart from the linkage arms so i will need to plumb into the hydraulic manifold under the right side footplate. Im no expert and do not want to get things wrong and go putting the wrong hose into the wrong port. I dont want to pay a dealer to do something that i think i can do myself either. Please can you take a look at the photo and tell me whether the marking are right or wrong . Any advice you can give is appreciated. Sorry if the terms I have used are not right but youll know what i mean. Also what is the ????? for. 1000000142.jpg

Nope, those are not ports those are banjo bolts that hold the pipes to the manifold.

You're going to have to show more pictures of the hydraulic system and piping to be able to tell you where and how to tap into the hydraulic system on that model.
The L1's are not very well documented with manual to help.

Thank you , any suggestions for where to photograph , when i follow the pipes they dont seem to connect to much else , apart from where they originate from

I think a tap block attaches where the 4 bolts are at.
Let me see if any of my parts books shows anything.

Your, L1-385 this is a newer tractor isn't it.

And yes you remove that plate and bolt on the outlet block.

It's the same setup as our (USA) L3901

Thank you very much for the help North Idaho Wolfman , you are correct , it is a 2021, the parts diagram explains a lot. Sorry the response was a bit slow , we are in different time zones , its nice to wake up to good news.

That is the factory hydraulic outlet block. Its currently covered with a blanking plate. To use it the blanking plate is replaced with an adapter plate with 3 ports - pressure out, pressure return, and tank return.

Dan
Thanks again , have ordered the adapter plate , o rings and bolts . I have 1 more question if you dont mind , on the adapter plate is the lower port tank return , upper right pressure out and upper left pressure return.

Thats correct for the L01 and L02 models sold in North America. I cant speak to your particular model. It should be easy to verify by inspection.

The ports on the NA machines are 3/8 NPSF thread.
