L3800 Kubota 2011 about 900 hours
Stops after 2 to 4 minutes. Will restart immediately but stop in 2 to 4 seconds.
All fuel issues OK
When we hot wire the "key stop solenoid relay" it runs fine.
IF I replace the k-s-s-r could it still be a computer issue ?

The computer does not control it running.
You either have a bad stop solenoid (there are 2 circuits in the solenoid) run and start.
If you hot wired the start it will stay running till the solenoid overheats and burns out.

We hot wired the relay---not the stop solenoid.
Glad it's not the computer.

Thanks

If you hotwired the relay and it's staying running, you have a bad key switch or fuse or fuse connection or wiring in between the two.

Look at the wiring schematic in the WSM

With the L3800 it is important to know if it is a manual transmission or an HST. The wiring is different.

There is no central computer on the L3800.
Bench test of the engine stop solenoid relay is on page 9-S14 of the Workshop Manual (WSM).
The key stop solenoid (different component) has a "hold" and "pull" connection. Pull is momentary and hold is long-term.
