540 PTO jumps out of gear

Gday all,
my tractor has just today started to jump out of gear in 540 Immediately the clutch is dropped.1000 is fine.
is this likely a worn gear an need a rebuild?

my tractor has just today started to jump out of gear in 540 Immediately the clutch is dropped.1000 is fine.
is this likely a worn gear an need a rebuild?

Could be a linkage issue, or a bent lever not letting it fully engage.
Seen more then one tractor with debris clogging up the works.
