Mistakes can be made. But the fact that the starter turns over when I bridge solenoid with main lug tells me I think I am competently connected to battery. I am certainly not an electrician, but I have terminated plenty of wires in my life...maybe I am not understanding your thoughts
It says the circuit between the battery and the fuse block is open. Should be easy to rundown using a test lamp.It seems definitive, but I am not smart enough to know what it points to at this time

Thanks for help. I do plan to trace that terminal feed back, but it is currently raining (I have no shop) and it looks like the feed goes into the main wiring bundle behind the dash.Tha

Heres a snap from the WSM. Fuse block feed appears to be one solid wire from the starter lug. Running a jumper might be revealing. I would also make sure the connectjons on the starter lug are all "clean, bright, and tight".Thanks for help. What do you think about bringing 12v directly from battery to slow blow fuse and see what works and what doesn't. Wasn't planning on trying to start tractor that way, just see if I get dash lights and power in other places. I would put 5 or 10a fuse on that jumper. Not sure what could go wrong if I tried that

Thanks so much for that, I just found that diagram myself and puzzling over it. So diagram shows 12v+ comes from starter lug > slow-blow fuse block through the "main" fuse and then gets distributed throughout the slow blow fuse block that way? So when I follow the + wire from battery to starter lug, there are no wires distributed along the way nor is there another wire at the starter lug except the one directly from the battery.Heres a snap from the WSM. I just tried the jumper. I put a 5a fuse in jumper between battery + and slow blow fuse block common. I took out glow plug slow blow fuse so as not to overwhelm the 5a fuse in jumper. I turned the key and everything lit up on the dash as normal. I am not sure what I am risking trying to start, but would need beefier jumper if I tried that. Not sure what that would tell me exactly either. Probably best best is to trace back the 12v+ input into the main slow blow fuse? Appreciate all the helpHeres a snap from the WSM. Bingo. Thats what I was looking for but that pic is pretty sketchy and it does not show up in any diagram I have seen. Where does the second wire come from - go to?How many wires do you have coming off of the positive terminal?

The factory end has a second connection.
