I can see through the position control housing to the ground, as well as the rear remote levers to the ground from the operators seat. This does not seem correct as the opposite side of the cab where the cruise control and range selector are housed has a rubber boot that provides a seal to the outside. Is this tractor simply missing a rubber seal on the position control housing, or is it normal to not be sealed? I have looked in parts diagram and there is a boot listed but unsure if the boot will fit the whole housing unit. I noticed the missing seal when out mowing our pasture and 2 large bees flew up into the cab through the position control lever gap. Thx in advance!

It would appear that you are missing a couple of pieces.

Thats what I thought as well, but I was confused when I addressed the issue to the dealer and was told there is no boot to cover the opening. I will follow up with them. Thank you.

Here are the part numbers so you can help your dealer locate them.
