I just got my cylinder back from the hydraulic shop and they showed me the " head gland" has a crack in it and it was not repairable. They said to try and find a complete used cylinder P/N 70050-93634, or a head gland P/N 70050-93640. Since these parts are no longer made, I'm hoping to find them on the used market.

You are throwing money away. Buy two new cylinders and be done with it for another 30 years.

That's easier said than done when my only income is SSI and what I can bring in by using my tractor.
I cant speak to your income but two new cylinders are not expensive by most measures especially if the machine makes you money.
