Does anyone have suggestions for sourcing a radiator for a L 35 TLB. This appears to be a single model unit, and locating one is proving difficult and expensive. Thank you.

Kubota Radiator Assy - Part #34070-16000

Messick's, German-Bliss, Colemans, all have them but they're $1,000+ for the assembly.

Thank you for your response, I was hoping another more cost effective solution existed. I find it disappointing how quickly Kubota discontinues parts for there machinery, as well as how few machines share parts.

I see quite a few cheap radiators on Ebay. maybe you can find something that you can retrofit without too much problem.

or have a radiator shop take a look at the old one unless it's totally hammered...

It's expecting a lot of a company to still keep making parts for a 25+ year old tractor.
The L35's were unique in a lot of aspects and parts because they were commercial models.

I’d confirm the radiator is beyond repair before hunting for a replacement. A radiator shop may be able to recore the original unit, which can be less costly than finding a correct replacement.

1. Compare the tag and mounting details, including inlet and outlet locations, fan clearance, and overall dimensions. L35 variants may differ.
2. Have it pressure-tested and checked for cracked tanks, blocked tubes, and repairable leaks. Recore it if the tanks and brackets are sound.
3. If it cannot be rebuilt, search by the dimensions and mounting points through used compact-tractor dismantlers, rather than only searching for “L35 radiator.”

Do not remove the cap while it is hot. Pressurized coolant can cause serious burns.
