If you do not do the verification, your Ad will more than likely be taken down and you could also be banned.
This is to help combat scam ads that are all to common these days.

A simple sign with your OTT user name and the date in a photo with the item being sold will help tremendously!

it’s been a minute since I danced for cash, but to come off the bench to pay for an excavator, now that takes vision and discipline.

I am afraid to ask how we will verify you sold yourself. Is their a webcam or YouTube channel we should tune into?!

Communicate via PM, don't give out your phone number, ask for theirs. Also, if you are every buying or selling, tell the other party 'lets TALK on the phone'.
Reverse image search on pictures to see if it is taken off the web. Not 100% a sure thing but, one of many steps you should take.
If they send you a check for too much, consider the excess a tip. If they want the tip back, it must be done in person.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I am simple man just trying to get some of my money back from purchasing a $1600 engine head that is now worthless to me!

I saw your add and also have read the required material.

Sounds pretty simple to me. Take a piece of cardboard, write you OTT username and date.

Prop it up next to the head, take a pic of the both together, post in your original thread.
