Spend the lawyer money on a delete kit instead.
Agreed.
Rather easy to do on 3350 as engine is mechanically injected.
I believe that a company in Turkey (probably others as well) sells a module that fakes out the tractor electronics to keep the indicators and beepers off. Don't know anything about the reputation of the company.
I should also mention that Kubota has issued a "Lifetime Warranty" for the emissions system of the B3350. This warranty is transferrable to subsequent owners and covers the reformer and other components damaged by a failed reformer, e.g., DPF. Kubota has not publicized this policy and your dealer may be unaware or may not tell you even if he is aware. I hava a PDF copy and can send a copy by email if you desire. I've never taken the time to learn how to post such things here.
FWIW, the 2018 B3350 that I once owned demonstrated emissions problems immediately after delivery and was back to the dealer several times (once for nearly 3 months) for updates, etc. Finally Kubota bit the bullet and replaced the reformer, DPF, etc., and it performed properly afterward. Dealer told me that bill for that visit would have been $7-9K had it not been covered by warranty, and that was pre-Biden.
Yes, one must follow the emissions system operation instructions in the Owners Manual precisely, e.g., do not shut down when the engine is performing a regen, etc., but I had no more issues after the last dealer visit, nor has the subsequent owner.
I bundled the B3350 with my farm when I sold it in preparation for a 1,700+ mile relocation to avoid trying to sell the B3350 myself.
