I bought a new to me Kubota! 2021 Grand L4060 Limited Edition. 180HRS It was placed in service 1/31/22 so it has 23 months power train and 11 months emissions warranty left. Bought it from an individual. It was a one owner. Just tired of freezing my hind end off! View attachment 170127
Congrats! That's an awesome tractor! I got tired of the dust, bugs, rain, wind, heat and cold five years ago! 😂

Any nice/useful options such as rear remotes, 3rd function etc?

It has 3rd function. I am going to add 3 rear remotes. The limited edition is a stripped down model but the guy added front and read work lights, cruise control, Bluetooth radio. The price point I bought it at I can add some things….so I have a list!

The local dealer is good, but not that good. I only put in the order request this morning so it'll be a week or more before the QH20 shows up.
My bad, I thought you had already picked one up.

Congratulations on the new tractor. I have a BX23S and I wish that I had bought a bigger tractor.
I used to own an Oliver Track Crawler back in the 1980s, but once I was finished using it I sold it to a collector in Maine. I didn't want to see it become a orphan out in the back 40 with no one to care for it. At that time I was working full time and every minute was filled. I think mine was a 1963 or 64. I will check later because I think that I still have the original books from it. I think that the fellow that bought it was going to use it for parts for another that he was restoring.

This morning I completed the swap of Faster couplers for Summit Hydraulics 1/2" Ag couplers on the M6060.

Very neat and clean. If it weren't for the mud on the tires it would look like you don’t use it.

I wonder how many routinely keep the cover on the PTO shaft when not in use. I do, but you’re the only other I’ve seen with the cover on a tractor that has more than a few hours on it.

I keep the PTO cover on both tractors when I don't have an implement hooked up to it. I have grease all over the PTO shaft and would rather not have it get caked up with crap. Then again, I have covers on the balls on all three B&W tow & stow hitches. 😂

Did you notice that I don't have the PTO safety shield in place? I took that off a couple of years ago since it kept getting crushed by the hydraulic top link.

Wow, that is interesting….which implement uses the most functions at one time? (Looks like you have some options). Is that a count of 7?

Then also what are the electric couplers above the horizontal set for?

The idea is to run the Buhler/Farm King rear blade off the Summit Hydraulics multiplier (top). The four circuits are controlled with a control grip in the cab that has four buttons for eight functions i.e. tilt, angle, offset and gauge wheels. The solenoids on the block open via momentary buttons on the control grip. Theoretically all four solenoids could be open at the same time, but the oil flow would be complicated. I have no intention of ever holding down two or more buttons on the control grip at the same time.

The bottom pair of remotes supplies the Summit Hydraulics multiplier. The middle and top pairs control the top-n-tilt cylinders so that's a total of six circuits controlled via three in cab levers. Makes sense right?

Oh my… could not even get the math right let alone understand it. Sounds like it has the functions you want / need so that’s a big 👍….i like upgrades that serve a functional purpose. Looks like a very clean / factory install. Well done. 👍

To the contrary i love to laugh when i see fake bead loc rims.

The 5460 and blower got a workout today with heavy, packed snow.

The provincial plow just did a fair job.

@S-G-R, nice video there. I always like the sights and sounds of a tractor working, and the plume of snow is the icing on the cake. We've had so little snow here in NW Montana. It sunny and mid 40s today and feels like spring is here.

I have an SB1574 blower but it looks small compared to yours. 😂
