I dont see anything in that label that helps. It looks like they just put the cover of the original engine on it. Which doesnt help at all.

This is the configuration I have in my V3800 manual, But I suspect is may be a newer variant. You are best served by contacting your Kubota industrial dealer to verify what should be in that engine.

Also get the stamped sn off the LF side of the block where @whitetiger indicated to get the correct engine sn.

That is as long as no one has messed around and swapped things.

If you have room to reach in with a piece of paper and a pencil, I've had success with that old trick when I couldn't get a decent picture.

I have decoded the number. But it still does not help.

Its a 2 that is faded.

So the number is V3800 - T - 2FW0187

This breaks down as 2 = V3 F=2015 W=November and 0187 = a sequence number.

How do I order parts from that number ??

Ok. So even Kabota has no idea what engine this is. But nevermind that. I have made some changes and I have fixed the original issue that caused all this mess. I just need to know if I have this these gears in time. Im 99% sure I do.

It is quite the oddity, I looked in every book and online source I have available, and no one lists those gears any differently.

I don't like the way 1 and 4 line up, but it might just be the camera angle.
besides that, yes they should be in time.

I take it your going to run it with the busted up gears?
It would be wiser to change all the gears to a standard set, I posted a link that set and they were pretty reasonable.
