I must be missing something that is obvious to others. I had the small gear that transfers movement to the injection pump come loose. I have repaired the threads in the block with TimeSerts. I was lucky that the drive gear didnt grab it and bust the casing. It did mess up a few teeth on the injection pump. Still that isnt a big deal. I got online and ordred a used middle gear set and a pump gear. When they arrived I noticed the angle of the gears teeth were backwards. Compared to my gears.

I will include pics of the broken gear on the skid steer and to two available on ebay. You can see the two on ebay are both the same angle. And you can see mine is the opposite of both of them. Also the small gear (between the pump and the drive gear) that I ordred is angled wrong.

I have no idea what year mine is but I have a feeling I am going to have to find out

Here are some pictures. Im sure they will make sense to someone that has seen this problem before. The top two are ebay items and the bottom pic is mine. I didnt take a pic of the transfer middle gear. Its angled backward as well. I just need to know why my engine is different and what the correct part numbers are for the pieces that work with my engine.

I thought i was crazy but I did find a post on facebook that showed teeth that are angled like mine and references a v3800. Here is that picture.

I think on that model it should be on the valve cover white tag not the black tag.
There is a flat spot on the side of the block that will also have the model and serial number.
It should be on the intake side, right below the head and back by the flywheel.

Any info is great as this is an odd one.

I apologize for the delay. It has turned a bit cold here in North Alabama. I think it's 15 degrees. The cold really hasnt stopped me from going outside. However I took a weight loss shot (zepbound) on Thursday. I have had so many side effects that I will never touch another one. I have had headaches, joint pain, and the worst stomach problems. I hope this shot wears out soon. Maybe i can get you some info tomorrow.

I will go to the shop and get the serial numbers around lunch time tomorrow. I know the skid steers serial number should be on the front right below the door. Where is the easiest place to find rhe engine serial number ?
The engine serial number is on the same tag below the cabin entry door.

You need to get the model / serial number off the engine.

I'm finding no variations in the supply pump gearing.
They show all the SVL95's have the same gear which is definitely the opposite of what you have
It's like your gears are an anomaly.

Can't see any numbers where they normally should be. I am probably just overlooking them.

Here is a look at the full front of the engine. And the cover. If someone could just verify that the engine come off a tractor or a generator or whatever...

Ok. I figured out this engine probably come out of a bobcat skid loader. Or it come from a Hyster h155 forklift. Here is a bobcat engine for sale on Bobcats website that shows the engine model and a picture of my engine. If someone can find me a parts breakdown showing the injection pump gear it would help me tremendously. I need the pump gear and the little idler gear and holder that drives the pump gear.

I see where you can lookup parts for the engine on the bobcat site but its asking for a model number or serial number of a loader to start looking

I have done all the searching and detective work that I can. Can anyone help me to find the actual parts that I need. I need the (fuel pump gear) and the (small gear and parts releated to it) that drives the fuel pump gear.

I am actually just worn down and tired and asking for someone to help me at this point to locate a source and correct parts diagram.

Really need the engines serial number, they all have one.
Left rear or right front just under the head mating surface.

It's not the engine you point to as that is a mechanical injected engine, completely different pump drive.

I'm doing a ton of guessing, But it's possible it's out of a newer S750 bobcat which would be a common rail engine.

Try going on skidsteerforum.com and ask around there

His SVL95-2 is serial number 34889, and his engine serial number is 2HA2810, according to the PIN plate picture he posted. His picture does not show the LH part of the tag where it says engine serial. ;)

@whitetiger

Would the 2HA… serial number be stamped onto the crankcase somewhere? I assume so but just want to know. He seems to state the engine is different so maybe the engine serial number on the block will NOT match with the stamped tag.

Yes I understand the tag, but if the motor has been swapped then I would really like to know the actual engine thats in it. ;)

I'm really struggling with the reverse gear thing.
I don't find any variation to the engines that are supposed to be stock in the SVL95-2.
There are no serial number breaks or anything obvious to point to the discrepancy.

I missed the part about his engine being replaced.
