I heard a clunking from the blower and investigated and figured out the bearing (left rear) is bad. It would clunk every 360* revolution. F206 Mfg CX bearing. Kubota part # 77700-00959 and Messicks shows that the replacement has 2 set screws which I can’t see on the blower? Under gear?
Any suggestions when replacing this bearing? I can see movement in the bearing race. Thanks

Set screws are behind the sprocket
Thanks for your help. Assuming between sprocket and bearing?

I noticed that the replacement shaft has sprocket welded to it. Chain looks close to collar in pictures. Got a snow prediction of 6” tomorrow and hopefully Kubota dealer has one in stock. If not maybe just order one from Amazon?

Dealer had bearing in stock and also purchased a chain link/lock just in case old one had issues removing. Needed my press to remove and install bearing. Seated against chain gear as originally but when I cleaned L bracket I noticed driveshaft was starting to wear a hole in the metal from being seated past cast iron bearing mount. And from set screw marks it was this way since new. Had to press out shaft so it was even with bearing inner race. Used blower today and it worked great. I now recall when checking chain tension for 1/2” play that it would be fine and rotate auger 180* and it would tighten up chain tension. So this was a clue that there was an issue with this bearing. Also Kubota shop foreman recommended the Kubota green mid viscosity grease for the blower bearings, not the thick viscosity grease so I purchased a tube of it too.
