Well to be honest, my legs kept me from doing a lot of things this year. Anyways, I will do it tomorrow, and tomorrow never seems to get here,,,, Well tomorrow got here over the week end and I didnt do what I wanted to do ,TOMORROW ,,, So snow out the wazoo, and the mower deck is still on the BX and the B, but I have the bucket on the B. Well ok I ll use the bucket to push snow, right,, nope I aint that good!
Oh and by the by the R4's on the B suck in the snow.
Anyways I get back to the garage, somewhat disappointed at my operating skills and put the back blade on. and this goes with the pipe question, cause I know gravel is going to be all messed up till spring.
But ya do what ya gota do. And down the drive way I go. Remember I said the mower deck was still on. Well the deck is pushing snow, hummm oh what the hell, I hit the PTO lever, and lurd almighty I got snow flying every where. I backed up to see, and the snow was gone right to the gravel! At this point my brain is about as numb as my hand and off I go snow blowing out the side chute all the way down turn around and back, the guy across the road was watching. Im sure he was thinking what is numb nuts up to now. So the driveway got mowed and the underside of the mower got blasted clean so a win win. So laugh or shake your head, but it worked this time. And remember what they say about tomorrows!

You don’t need a pipe on your blade to plow snow on gravel. Just reverse the moldboard so the blade skims off snow without moving gravel. I’ve been doing this for over 25 years.

Skeet’s, now you have me wondering if I could blow snow with my zero turn mower. 😎

I feel your pain....
I was planning to remove the deck but the snow beat me to it....
Whatever... maybe I'll pull it off in the spring for a tune up.
