Folks, I finally used my tractor (LX2610) a little too hard by being a dumba$$. i got stuck by driving too far into a place to dump a load of brush. I wound up getting my left front tire on the wrong side of a stump and by muscling it out I hit the tire hard enough to pop the bead. While taking the tire off I noticed that the wheel had alot of slop in it and I compared it to the other side which is still nice and tight. It appears that the slop is in the tie rod end where it goes through the gear case.
Looking at the parts break down, I believe I can just replace the tie rod end and it should be a straight forward job. Am I correct with this thought or will it be pretty involved to change it out. Also, can I use it as is until I get the part(s) or should I park it until it is fixed?
As a side note, the tire popped right back on the rim with just using air pressure, no ratchet strap or other means needed for that part.
Thanks,
Bob
ps. sorry for no pictures of my stupidity
