B6000 rear axle seal and fan belt change

Thank you both, I'll buy the socket to fit the nut. I guess the nut is tightening when rotating the engine (clockwise viewing from front), so it won't come off. I should pull the glowplugs off to help, but little afraid they are properly stuck there

B6000 rear axle seal and fan belt change

My B6000 is dripping some oil from rear axle seals, both side (~2 liters over the winter parked in garage). I got seals from tracpartz and was going to change them, but it wasn't like on B7100 like on youtube. I have to take off the blue cover on top of the seal (brake cover?), but is there...

    B7100 rear half on a b6000

Someone here had done it for b6000 with b7001 rear end https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/ive-solved-the-anti-clock-pto-issue-on-my-b6000-well-for-me-anyway.7971/

aftermarket 3 point hitch set up issues with b7000

I had same issue with my B6000, linkage arms would interfere with tyres. Previous owner had moved the check chains inside the lower link arms but that wasn't enough. I narrowed my grade blade and 3pt trailer hitch-ball attachments (welded new brackets for grade blade and chopped+welded the 3pt...

Trouble finding pto shaft with shearbolt for B6000

Thank you all for the suggestions It has a pto reverser. Quick attach systems aren't really popular here and may be difficult to get. I think second best option would be to make longer lower linkage arms, I'll have to weigh the options. Pic of the machine with tiller and mower if anyone is...

Trouble finding pto shaft with shearbolt for B6000

Mateng TL85 tiller and NEFL95 flail mower. Slip clutch would be a good consideration, as it could be adjusted, I'll check out those if there are small ones available. But first I'll have to check the implements if there are shear bolts already in those.

Trouble finding pto shaft with shearbolt for B6000

I'm not finding small enough PTO shaft for rotary tiller and flail mowerfor my kubota. I live in Finland so it's a challenge for finding small accessories. The smallest shafts with shearbolt start from 25kW. Usually that's not a problem, but would the shear bolt be too strong to shear before the...

    B6000 Decompression Valves

Thanks, so adjusting by the stem and locking of setting by the jam nut. Problem is to know when the setting is correct, as there is no access port on valve cover to input feelergauge between rocker and the decomp system. The B6000 service manual is really unhelpful with this, as this is only...

    B6000 Decompression Valves

Old thread, sorry! I don't know if I'm stupid but I cannot figure out how the B6000 decompression system would be adjusted. My tractor has all parts for the linkage but it is very loose. Decomp linkage for cylinder nearest to driver is slopping around with over 5mm vertical play so it won't...

Towing point for B6000 at rear

Is this plate located at the back of B6000 taut enough that it could be used to tow something (like stuck car with strap)? I would fabricate a simple plate to attach to the two holes for it with 20mm hole that could fit a shackle. Of course I could tow with the plate already attached to tractor...

    B6000 wheel hubs loose

Thanks, It's our old summer cottage so the "garage" does not have proper floor, only dirt/gravel. We put pressure treated wood on the floor and it's been working great, no moisture getting in as the cottage is on a hill. The machine has been painted when the importer brought them to Finland. I...

    B6000 wheel hubs loose

Dismantled the hubs, and these weren't the annoying two-part b7100 style hubs. The bolts were just extremely rusted and seized. Got them free with some persuasion, cleaned with wire wheel and installed back with lots of aluminium antiseize paste, and they snugged up really well. Maybe I'll...

    B6000 wheel hubs loose

I tried to search, but didn't find specifically for b6000. Does the newer better style rear wheel hub fit b6000? https://www.tracpartz.com/wheel-hub-kubota-b1550-b1700-b1750-b2100-b2400-b2410-b4200-b5100-b5200-b6100-b6200-b7100-b7300-b7400-b7410-b7500-b7510-b7610.html On my unit the rear...

kubota b6000 steering box oil level

Greetings from Finland! First time tractor owner and writer here. I Bought a b6000 and doing some maintenance on it. Changed front axle oil, gearbox oil and motor oil. Just need to change front wheel hub oils and steering box oil. How much oil there should be in the steering box? There seems...
