So my turbo started spitting oil and I gave one of those $180 Chinese replacements a try. The chinese turbo doesnt fit. Intake housing is too big and the intake is larger than the factory one. Just a heads up.

Thanks for the links. The ebay one won't work. The lower mount is to long. The db link looks like it may work but specs for V3300 engines. I have a D1105. The case may by too large.

Are there any high amp alternators that will bolt into place of a 40 amp alternator on an 05 series Kubota engine? Looking for at 50 amp to 70 amp replacement.

Oil pressure cold is 40-60 psi idle to full throttle. Oil pressure hot is 15-40 psi idle to full throttle.

That hole on the water pump is called a weep hole. When the water pump starts to fail, it will leak from that hole first as a indication it needs replacing. You need a new water pump.

That's what I was thinking but wanted to confirm. Converting to Fahrenheit and per the workshop manual the thermostat starts to open at 158*-162* and is fully open at 185*.

I've searched and can't find the answer. What is the operating coolant temperature for a D1105-T with a 71*C thermostat? What temperature is considered overheating?

Good news to report. The water pump for the Carrier D1105 variant arrived and it fit. Bolt holes and housing size are spot on. I haven't tested it yet though. The part number that fit my engine is Carrier 29-70183-00 and I'll refer to it as the smaller bolt pattern pump. There are 2 different...

One thing I noticed on my D1105-T that's different from the 3 V1505s i have is the D1105 has AISIN cast on the front gear cover above where the crankshaft comes out. The 1505s dont have that and one is a mid 2001 build. Also the engine isn't Kubota blue. It's more a grey color. Still waiting on...

Through more research I found a water pump part number for a Carrier refrigerator unit that uses a D1105. If this doesn't work I'll order a 60mm pump and just make it work.

I've called them, Coleman, Country Sales and they didn't really show any interest once they got locked out of the serial number.
