BX5450 Snow Blower Drive Chain Problem

If yours is very tight, this is probably a much safer approach than mine. Fortunately, mine just needed a small pull, didnt have to really crank on the puller.

BX5450 Snow Blower Drive Chain Problem

My upper sprocket was also tight. Once I made up my mind to replace it, I used a two jaw puller to pull it off the shaft. Once removed, I used some fine sand paper to clean up the shaft at the edge until the new one went on with only minor resistance. If your lower gear is like mine, it is...

BX5450 Snow Blower Drive Chain Problem

Be sure if they were running out of line for any period of time that your sprockets are not heavily worn. This one came off a used BX5450 that I bought. I ended up replacing both sprockets and the chain as a precaution and due to the horrible grinding sounds it made even once aligned properly.

    BX2537A hitch questions

That's pretty cool. I actually put wheels on the back of my 5450 that are similar to those, for the exact reason you said.

    BX2537A hitch questions

Ok, yeah that makes sense. I see a good many of the old ones for sale and very few reviews about them.

    BX2537A hitch questions

I am interested in what troubles you had with the old generation brooms? We have been tossing the idea around of picking up a used one. I was basically given a 5450 blower so that started me down the old generation attachments with a newer tractor model.

    BX2537A hitch questions

I have kind of looked into this and from my research it would require extensive part swaps work with new drive lines etc. It might be possible that I overlooked something, but I went old school and bought all the prior generation quick hitch attachments. They work fine on my 2380 just have to be...

Thanks. For some reason my google searching was not turning up anything too concrete. Those links are just what I was looking for.

    Quick Coupler ID

I am trying to add a snow plow and quick hitch off of a BX25 (BX2763A plow and BX2751 quick hitch) to my BX2380. It seems that the hard connections to the front of the frame are compatible and will work fine. I am struggling to find what female hydraulic connectors I need to properly connect...

    BX2380 in Current Market

After much research and brand shopping I ended up purchasing a 2380 with a 60 mmm. I was able to get out the door right around 16k with 0%, which including the loan fees in my state and sales tax puts me just under the Kubota MSRP from before the latest 4% price increase. The dealer also...

    BX2380 in Current Market

Yeah I stumbled over the configuration tool a few days ago. It's useful to get a ballpark. Thanks for mentioning it again though. Does that MSRP include delivery and setup or would that be on top of that number? I have seen it mentioned both ways.

    BX2380 in Current Market

Thanks. That seems fairly close to what I am seeing then. Based on current events I can't see the supply and pricing getting better anytime soon. This local dealer has 3 of the 2380s, but one is spoken for. I have to move quick if I want one of the remaining two probably. How are you liking it...

    BX2380 in Current Market

No I am not offended. Just a little surprised to have you view my post in that manner. I am also in need of my morning coffee. But, I assure you I am not a troll. I am here to get advice and learn what all the great folks here already might know. Also, yes thanks for the input you did...

    BX2380 in Current Market

Wow. What a welcome, thanks. No I am not a troll, I was simply asking for input about what other are seeing in the market. What sort of purpose would me coming here to "troll" about supply shortages and prices serve? Maybe you need your morning coffee? If you would have read my subsequent...

    BX2380 in Current Market

I agree that's why I mentioned I know it will be disappointing. I was looking for an older Cub or the like but 4wd is something I am somewhat hung up on. Like the scut market that one is inflated also. To get into something new with 4x4 you are 3/4 the way to a full scut like a BX.
