I am looking to get a flail mower for my M5140 Cab, which weighs @5,500 lbs with loader and filled tires. Supposed to be 46 hp at the PTO. I will be cutting 18 acres of fescue, may I ask which model you have?

Just noticed this thread, so this reply may have been overcome by time but hopefully someone can use the info. I bought an M5140 Cab in November 2013 and it came with an air ride seat option ($491). Kubota was definitely selling air ride last fall for the M5140.

Has anyone made a mod to add an additional remote control lever to the back of the tractor so the 3 point hitch can be raised and lowered, while working at the back of the tractor?

I second that question. I am also looking for a rear control lever, but for a M5140 Cab. Last week, I had to climb in and out of the cab a dozen times while trying to hook up an old chisel plow with CAT II pins - in a downpour. My knees were telling me about it.
