I got the piece out of the grease gun. I screwed it into the joint on the backhoe. Is this what its supposed to look like? There is no hole for the grease to go into. Am I misunderstanding something? What is the grease gun supposed to do? Just push grease around the outside of this bolt...

Do I need to buy just the LockNLube coupler or the entire "spin on pistol-grip grease gun kit?" Is the Walmart gun I have okay, or is it so bad that it won't work at all?

My BX23S just says, "lube the grease points on your BX23S every 10 hours" then there's no where to learn how to do that except Youtube, where everyone shows you how to do it without any problems. If you have a problem...well...good luck.

Oh, and I never twisted the grease gun when trying to apply grease the first time. Maybe that will help figure out what went wrong?

The zerk fitting spins around, but never comes off. I figured that if I could get it to spin counterclockwise it would eventually come off. But it just spins and spins. A vise won't help because that's not the problem.
