I disassembled and cleaned the cap. Power is still not back to normal. I will order yet another fuel filter and report back. I would appreciate any other ideas.

Our L2501 is about five years old. I have kept the maintenance up to what is recommended in the manual. I am starting to notice a distinct loss of power. Any ideas or advice on how rectify this would be appreciated.

Howdy, I looked in my manual and it states 200 hour engine oil frequency. I have not got close to 200 hours since the last change. However, it has been almost a year since the last engine oil change. Do you think that I should change anyway just due to time? Thanks in advance, Hank

Here is our L2501 on the farm. I am a complete newbie so for you newbies, are you amazed at what a tractor can do? I am no longer a young man but with Ernie the Tractor (my wife's name for the tractor) I can still get a lot done.

We have an L2501 HST. It is used to help maintain a 65 acre tree farm. The tractor has done everything we have needed doing and done it well. It is amazing what you can get done with a tractor. I use a LandPride RCR60 bushhog. That is a 60". The tractor has no difficulty with it.

I would go with the box blade. I would read some and watch some youtube before getting started. Remember to go easy with the box blade.

My wife and I own a 65 acre tree farm. Our L2501 is set up like yours and it has made life much easier. There is always something to use the tractor for. I have not found it under powered at all.
