BX23 head assembly marks or exact same cracks?

I would do a block combustion leak test, that way you can confirm if there is combustion gas leaking into the coolant system. Real easy to do.

Offsetting rear blade ... should I grease it?

Do not use grease. I was introduced to this product while working for a military contractor, It is a spray on dry film lube that containers moly disulfide and graphite in a resin binder. It is expensive but it is one of the best dry lubes I have used. Sometimes you do get what you pay for...

"Burnishing" your new brakes. WTF......... Now I've heard it all. (I'm raising the Bullsh!t flag)

All new brakes require some "wear in" before the wear material achieves full contact whether disk or drum. It is best not to be very heavy on the brakes before the brakes have had time to break in.
