    Tachometer 'Flutter'

On my B2301, have notice the last couple times mowing the tachometer needle seems to be what I would call 'fluttering'. Engine rpms sound constant and runs fine/normal, just the needle on the dash bounces ever so slightly (maybe 1/16th of an inch) around the 540 RPM mark. I don't remember...

    b2601 third function doesn't work

A fuse was the culprit for me...maybe worth checking. Mine was right off the battery in a small inline holder (auto style fuse).

Thank you...these are bark rivers (or made by bark river) out of Escanaba MI. I try to keep the collection to MI made or MI themed knives...keeps the collection from getting too far out of hand. Top to bottom... Bark River Little Creek (my EDC), Ambush Knives Sidekick, Ambush Knives Brute...

Any ideas on how to break-up ice on a gravel driveway?

I don't have a box blade...it seems the scarifiers + weight would be the ticket. I do have a rear angle blade and tried tilting to one side to just use a sharp edge...limited success, mine only weighs ~300#....just not heavy enough. I also have a middle buster...suspect that is also too light...

    Arctic Cat...RIP

Used to work for a company Textron bought...at the time the company was decades old and helped fight WW2. It was a perfectly good and successful company. But didn't last long after they took over, made a bunch of bad decisions and then sold it off.

    Leaf Time

Did the big annual leaf cleanup today after this weeks windstorm in mid-MI. I have been mulching leaves for the last several years. Not sure I can really tell much of difference with turf 'health'... but it's not hurting either...and sure is easier than racking/bagging. The finish mower...

    Mower blades

Flap disk and a screw driver for balancing. The LP manual for the rear finish mower says to balance them vertically. So I just hang them on a screw driver and see if the blade tilts to one side or the other. I rotate thru two sets of blades a year and have a smaller yard. So they never get...
