    B2601 Tiller ?

As long as the PTO shaft is the correct length and the slipper clutch is present and confirmed to be working/adjusted it should be 100% OK to use. lots of you tube videos on checking changing PTO length and how to spin the clutch.

Added a video. It’s just a rake, Nothing complicated. It’s not complicated, just dragging a rake to scratch up the gravel. See new video attached to original post.

    Dethatching gravel

Non existent winter in mid-Michigan this year. Last week we set the all time high for February. Sigh.

    Dethatching gravel

Thanks for posting the pictures. It worked better than I expected for such a light weight attachment.

    Dethatching gravel

Gravel driveway was looking a little rough over winter. Used a 3pt dethatcher to ‘pick’ the gravel to the surface. This time of year, in Michigan, I didn’t really want to disturb the base too much. Worked great and looks a ton better. That tool is not exactly cheap, but they are super...

    Rats ate my wires

Talk to your insurance company for the tractor and/or home. They may cover that bill…after the deductible of course. One summer we had groundhogs get into both our cars. Auto insurance covered the damage. It was a small win…unfortunately, neither car ever ran the same again.

Finish mower blade sharpening? Jigs, freehand, angle grinder, bench grinder, stone, paper?

2nd vote for the flap disk. A low grit 60-80’ish makes quick work with sharpening. I sharpen free hand. As the sanding leaves a shiny surface. Quite easy to see where it’s hitting to maintain the angle.

BX23s Hydraulic filter made a loud pop on removal!?

That may be normal. I think it’s actually a vacuum ‘pop’. Mine did it and I have seen YouTube videos that have captured the same. Even my front differential dipstick will ‘pop’ every so often. I say vacuum because any real pressure would by blowing out dipsticks and / or filters. But...

Mounting new LED lights on B2650HSD

I have the nilight pods going on a year now. I installed mine the simplist way I could. Used existing holes in the ROPS for a light on each side. And simply used the under fender bullet connectors for power. The only downside is they are switched on with the key. But again the install was...

    Glacier/Storm Attachments ?

Does anyone have any experience with the Glacier/Storm attachment company out of MI? I believe ‘storm’ is glacier’s light duty small tractor line of attachments. The storm stump bucket and pallet forks seem reasonably priced.

    PTO Hookup Bungee Trick?

I do use the 'hook' for storage... I found the bungee does a far better job centering the shaft for connection...and the added give in the bungee makes alignment easier IMO.

    PTO Hookup Bungee Trick?

I have only had a tractor for a year or so….I am new to this and clearly a slow learner … When hooking up a PTO shaft I found using a bungee/tarp cord to support the weight of the PTO shaft makes it much easier. This allows you to concentrate on finding new and creative vocabulary words when...

    Tractor washing.

Just washed mine today. I like the Lucas spray speed wax. Fast, cheap, can use it on everything. Not the best ‘wax’ in the world, but it sure is easy to use.
