I have L3710 GST. I replaced the glow plug relay and controller today and noticed a switch that contacts the shuttle shift lever, Part# TA040-43900. Looked it up but Messicks just calls it a switch. Can someone tell me what the switch does? Thanks, Bob

Thanks for the info. We had some major runoff this spring from melting snow and rain. Was in the mud and water making diversion ditches to keep the water out of my barn. I’ll probably keep an eye on the fluid level and change it this summer when I get a chance. Bob

Can vouch for this. I have a L3710 GST and I let it warm up for at least 20 minutes. It will still be sluggish, I use it but take it easy until it acts normal. own a Ram with a Cummins also and yes you have to let it warm up in neutral.

Asphalt tears up front tires of left in 4x4, period. It will also wear on the 4x4 components in the tractor if your on the asphalt. Doing a lot of turning is especially hard on a tractor if left in 4x4.

I have a Woods BH9000 backhoe on my L3710. The dipper leaks down pretty quick when I move the tractor. What’s the best way to tell if the valve or the cylinder itself is the cause? Bob
