    L175 trans rebuild

Um Yeah, i took the scenic route, lol. Took me a few to find all of the parts, had the gears sent in from around the world, Greece, etc. Had alot of it in stock and then got out on a few tangents, New Rops, paint, etc. Had the crash box on my back workbench and as I would get tired of people I...

    L175 trans rebuild

So the tranny worked out well. Replaced most if the gears, bearings and seals. Its just nuts and bolts. Sourced gears everwhere I could. Part numbers are vital. Used tractor oil and it was noisey. Swapped back to gear oil and lucas and smooth sailing. The fork is more intimidating than...

Trying to swap wiring harness from a L175 on to my L1500

I had sourced a mediocre used one, then found a harness repair shop in New York. Sent him both and he made me one good one, upgraded, and a bag of leftovers. My alt harness was also toasted. https://www.wiringharnesses.com/

    ROPS installation L175 & L225

Just got mine after spending some time with a great lady named Annette at Kubota. Took some emailing and some serial number pictures, ordered my kit from a GREAT dealer and they drop shipped right to my shop. The kit for my L175 is the SFL-22. I am not familiar with the SFL-27 but the kit came...

    ROPS installation L175 & L225

Glad I read this as I was wondering if it was something I did. The recommendation to leave everything loose until it is all hung and bolted up was a good one also as there was some maneuvering to get it all slung onto it correctly with some messaging of the holes...

    RIP Larry From Dixie tractor

I called Dixie tractor today to get some stuff for my L175 as I have begun my full on Kubota redo. Called a fella I met a few years back and he set me up with the clutch, reverse gears, shafts, decals and bearings. He did it with such professionalism I could not forget. I remembered and looked...
