I suggest attach gauges & to check high & low pressures. My guess is your tractors AC system is low on refrigerant.

IT'S NOT THE PUMP!!! WOOHOO!!! I disconnected the line from the pump to the 3rd function valve and dumped it straight into a plastic...

Just cut your heater line somewhere near the engine and put in a shutoff valve. Can be just a ball valve with 2 nipples on it. Close it...

Make sure the magnets do not keep the filter seal from compressing onto the housing when you screw the filter on. Guess how I know this...

If it's bugging you, you can change it to the newer design, just unscrew the rod out of the case and use the newer ring magnets. Old...

This was a very short lived and limited design concept, it was quickly replaced by the magnets in newer designs.

The magnetic rod is in an interal path that is shared by both filters, the fluid has to pass the magnet before it gets to either filter.
