    Building pad with box blade

It's been awhile but here's an update. I took the advice of stop worrying about digging uneven when tearing up the grass. Some decent time on grass removal and then the box blade was able to go to work. Just takes some tlc. I do think I tooth bad would help things immensely.

    Building pad with box blade

Hey everyone thanks for the replies! I used the rippers today to really soften it up like everyone is mentioning. This really made a huge difference in getting the top layer up without digging way down into my soil. Thanks for the help. I still would like a tooth bar eventually, but I haven't...

    Building pad with box blade

10-4 I guess that's what I was worried about was digging to deep and it not being level. Like you said I can just use the blade once the ground is softer to level it out. I wish I could cut in better with that blade on the top soil, but doesn't seem like it was meant to be.

I discussed with the Kubota house back on Monday. He said the speedo runs off the magnetic pickup off transmission and goes through computer. The tach is fine, the speedo is the issue. I will pull front dash off and trach the speedo wire back and see what that gets me. My guess is the wires...

    L3830 Speedometer Not Working

I lent out my L3830 and got it back with the speedometer not working along with some other damage. In order to keep from rocking the boat I m making the repairs myself and not saying anything. Just learned a lesson. I know that trees were driven over and racked underneath the tractor instead...

rear power down for 3pt l3830

I ve added two 55 gallon drums full of water to both implements and it helps a little just does not dig the way I hoped it would. The disc might go an inch down at a time and this is a heavy tandem disc with cutter disc up front. In reverse I can really get the disc to dig because the weight of...

rear power down for 3pt l3830

Looking for a way to make my l3830 have rear power down on the 3pt instead of just gravity. The setup now does not work well with my disc and blade as I can't force them into the ground. I m thinking I ll have to add a remote just not sure the best way to go about it. Thanks in advance and...
