Just went to the tire guy. There is a sign in his window that says he’s off all next week for the 4th. Bad timing. Discount tire suggests tubes. Might be best option? Any downsides?

My rear rims have a sticker on them: 29x12.0-15. Currently that is the size tire on those rims. They are dry rotted. I'm assuming it is OK to put a 29x12.5-15 tire on that rim to replace the harder-to-find 29x12.0-15. Is that right? thank you!

thanks. I tried to activate mid PTO, rear PTO, reverse, forward, and drive a bit. will see how it goes. right now the level is the top of the flat portion of the dip stick, which is above the line, but I don't know if that's way high. if it doesn't drop down, I'll drain some more.
