Under the cap is smooth. Should I buy a new cap just to make sure? Does a bad cap mean that you loose pressure?

Should I use a degreaser and a hose to spray the radiator? The tractor is truly getting hot the overflow tank is bubbling and liquid is coming out of the drain tube from the overflow tank if you run it long enough. Should I run the tractor with the radiator cap off to see if bubbles are present?

So the issue to the tractor running hot was a loose V Belt. Once I adjusted the tension to make it tighter that fixed the issue of overheating. The water pump and the fan started to operate at the correct speeds and the temperature gauge now displays a much cooler operating temperature.

Had to remove the rubber water pipe to get better access to the bolts. Once that was done was able to get access to remove the bolts!

I'm trying to replace a thermostat in a Kubota L2800 tractor. Do I remove the top two bolts that are on the housing next to the rubber pipe? I tried loosing the bolts and they are not moving at all. Thanks
