There is more to this story than you are telling. 1) It is illegal for the "entire" warranty to be voided. The manufacturer rep (dealer) must provide evidence that the act or modification was the direct cause of the failure. Even then, only the warranty on that part is denied. They know this...

"Burnishing" your new brakes. WTF......... Now I've heard it all. (I'm raising the Bullsh!t flag)

I have raced for many many years ans was supported for most of them by a leading brake company. There is absolutely transfer of the friction material (pad or shoe) to the metal used in the rotor/ drum. This is what changed the kinetic energy (rotation) to heat energy (friction). That is what...

That is horrible advice in the video. He has probably ruined brakes on people's trailers. Under no circumstances should new brakes get that hot. Never. I can pull up a half dozen brake manufacturers that specifically say "gentle" brake application and "do not panic stop" on new pads.

Just remember- Ford doesn't deny warranty work. The dealer tells Ford it shouldn't get covered If you have a solid dealer shop, they'll work with you. Don't get silly with 150 hp tunes and warranty work won't be an issue. My 2015 had several problems all taken care of no questions asked. When...

If you are going to keep it a while and keep it "intact" then at least reroute the CCV line. Then you won't have soot AND oil throughout your intake.

    Advertisment inundation

Pop up and ad blockers work very well. The issue I've had lately is the site sometimes wants me to enable 3rd party cookies to log in. Other times it doesn't matter. I won't enable them so I just go on to something else. When I come back it might let me in.

OK, I think u understand what you are saying now. The pedal is useless when rolling backwards? That does seem really strange.

    Brake problems

Calling it "unsafe" is a stretch. Operating a tractor is unsafe. You shouldn't park on a hill unless the machine is perpendicular. Never rely on a parking brake on any incline, Will the brakes hold the machine if you have your foot on the pedal? May just need adjustment. Can't say I can get my...

"Burnishing" your new brakes. WTF......... Now I've heard it all. (I'm raising the Bullsh!t flag)

FWIW, the bedding process for brakes (burnishing) is to facilitate the transfer of friction material from the pad to the steel of the rotor or drum. Brake pads on steel don't provide much stopping power. The stopping power (friction) comes from the brake pad material against brake pad material...

    Greasing Front Axle Support

You can use a 8 point socket. Technically not the right tool for the job, but it requires very little torque to R&R that little plug If you want an actual 4 point, they are commonly called "pipe plug sockets". McMaster Carr has them individually

Wheels for land rake...yes or no?

The needle rake is probably what you want UNLESS you want a dual purpose tool. I use a York Rake to spread gravel, top soil, wood chips. I use the wheels for some of that. Never tried pine needles
