    Nylon protective sleeve

And I thought both products protected against injury to the operator. I don't know what the OP wants. I do know that I wish I had known the differences in the sleeve material and what each specifically was intended for. Its not much to go with one that protects from ruptures. At only $0.30 more...

    Truck / trailer questions

I'm going to assume the trailer might weigh 3000 at most. With a 4000 load on it, that makes 7000. I don't know of a 1/2 ton that wouldn't pull that just fine. Stop it too. Thing is, you are likely going to overload the rear axle of a 1/2 ton truck. The problem is *what* you are towing. It's...

    Nylon protective sleeve

Learn something every day. There are some that do, and some that don't protect against injury from oil spray.

    Nylon protective sleeve

My understanding is that the sleeves are to protect from highly pressurized oil spray. Not necessarily to protect the hoses.

    RFID card holders

The technology is complicated to explain, but I can tell you these two things: There has not been a single, proven instance where a card has been used fraudulently after skimming via RFID. Even if the skim were successful AND the person were able to duplicate it, the card could only be owed...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yep, that's what I mean. Thinking about it a bit, it may not work that way because the extractor tank is where the vacuum comes from. Any residual fluid pulled out would end up un the tank without some sort of intermediate reservoir. And, you'd have to be able to pull enough vacuum to pull the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That's still a decent vacuum. I'm sure there wasn't any difference in the end result. Out of curiosity- were you able to fill the extractor prior to pulling the vacuum? That would make it super simple!

    Broken Oil Drain Plug

I'm kind of surprised it didn't come out. If it spins counter clockwise by hand, and you *really* pull on it, it should come out. If you do go the route of taking the pan off, a new (or new to you) pan would be better than attempting a re thread only to find out it leaks.

    BX Disasters and Owner Abuse

Mine actually told me that very same thing also. Then he told me to lock the hubs before going off road. Unless I wanted to get out in the muck and lock them when I got stuck.

    Burned by EA

A lot depends on what you want it to do. Brush? Logs? Both? Long tines (IMHO) do a great job moving multiple logs and split firewood. It is at the expense of weight. Short tines preserve your lifting capacity but somewhat limit how much stuff you can fit in the jaws. Look for thick/ laminated...

    Broken Oil Drain Plug

You probably just stripped the threads. All is not lost. If it spins relatively easily, snap on a set of vice grips and gently pull while spinning counter clockwise. Be ready with a catch pan! Then you can inspect the threads. If the plug threads are more chewed up then you can use a thread...
