All the machines were well maintained and serviced correctly, some used glow plug system others used heaters and even air cooled applications. My point is in my opinion you don't need it and 90 % of equipment working in cold temperatures don't have one, its optional.

Sounds to me like a bad injection pump or possibly worn out cylinders / pistons Either way I would start with a compression test first

If your not mechanically inclined I would just bite the bullet and get your local dealer to replace the seal

Check your safety switches - Seat switch - Neutral switch Two most common if equipped with opc sometimes wires on plug corrode and damaged

Compression test, leak down test, vacuum test after that I would pull the injection pump out to inspect common issues like slider plate screws falling out, broken spring

Check the one way check valve (#2) Verify fuel pump pressure in hot conditions as you claim Inspect fuel filter inside tank That's where I would start

Doesn't it already have a hydraulic pump on it, lol I would check pressure according to spec, some units are 150 +/- under factory specs
